Embark Georgia

Embark Georgia is based out of the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development; a unit of the Office of Public Service and Outreach at the University of Georgia.  Dedicated to building a better Georgia, Fanning strengthens communities and organizations through leadership development, training, and education. The mission of Embark Georgia is to increase college access and retention for youth who have experienced foster care or homelessness. By creating a network of support on campus and across the state, Embark Georgia aims to improve the chances for every student to complete a degree or certificate program at one of the over 50 USG or TCSG institutions in Georgia.
