Finance & Employment

Questions about managing your personal finances?  There are resources available to help you manage bank accounts, learn about saving money, understand loans, and learn budgeting skills.

Preparing for employment, whether it's a part-time job or career, is important.  You can access resources to help you build a resume, construct a cover letter, match your interests with career opportunities, and learn helpful skills to succeed in the workplace.  Remember, if you love what you do, you'll never "work" a day in your life.

A Successful Financial Future

57% of alumni of care indicated that they lacked individuals to loan them money in the event of emergency.

Fewer than half of alumni of foster care have bank accounts, making them vulnerable to predatory lending practices and paycheck cashing shops. Making connections with a financial professional can go a long way to preparing for a successful financial future.
