Medicaid Until 21

Foster Care Transitional Medicaid Begins when your foster care case is closed or you no longer have Medicaid while you are still in care.

Are you turning 18 years old soon?

OR

Are you between the ages of 18 and 21?

AND

Are you currently in foster care but leaving soon?

OR

Were you in foster care on your 18th birthday and are under the age of 26?

Then you may qualify for Foster Care Transitional Medicaid through the Department of Health and Human Services. Please read the PDF to the right or click the link below for more information.
