FSM’s Debut Webinar: Increasing Campus-Based Support Programs for Students from Foster Care in MI

Increasing Campus-Based Support Programs for Students from Foster Care in Michigan

The webinar includes information about FSM and how Collective Impact Strategy is being utilized to increase post-secondary education access and success for students from foster care.

Those new to the topic, receive information emphasizing the need for campus-based support, highlighting helpful tools and the how-to's of program development. This webinar was co-sponsored by the Michigan Community College Association, with the goal of encouraging community colleges and universities that do not already have such a program in place to consider starting a campus-based support program for students from foster care.

Addionally, a guide is being created by FSM about how to create a campus support program. This guide should be available near the end of 2014.
