College Financial Aid Resources for Former Foster Youth
This resource provides information about potential financial aid opportunities for post secondary education.
The Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute has released Tools For Transformation: Building a Compassionate Child Welfare System which highlights policy recommendations provided by participants in the Foster Youth Internship Program (FYI), a group of 10 young people with experience in foster care who have completed congressional internships. The FYI Program began in 2003 as an effort to raise awareness to federal policymakers about the needs and unique perspectives of those who spent time in foster care.
