"I Am Strong" A Poem by Stephanie Otis, MYOI President and Youth from Foster Care
To me goals are meant to be reached, almost like a promise to one’s self that they will make themselves a better person one step at a time.
I have to remember that I am stronger than I think. I have made it through many obstacles and I’m a fighter, a survivor.
Everything I went through before coming to the United States made me strong and gave me the motivation to succeed in life.
When you know who you are, no one can convince you of who you are not. I’m secure. I’m loved. I’m confident. I’m capable. I’m free. I’m worthy.
