Wayne State University TIP CHAMPS Video

Wayne State University's TIP program strives to breakdown barriers to college for students who have experienced foster care as well as increase access, retention, and graduation. 

TIP focuses on 3 C's:

-Coaching: Life skills support, mentoring, support, and resource navigation.

-Confidence: Meeting policy makers, planning activities, and public speaking engagements.

-Careers: Scholarships, career mentors, internships, interview and resume skill building, work study, and summer youth employment.
