Getting a Job and Work Experience while in Care

The New York Foster Care Youth Leadership Advisory Team has created a resource discussing the importance of obtaining employment while in foster care and how to talk with your case manager or caregiver about getting a job. 

The resource provides you with information about what you need in order to apply for a job, who you can turn to for support, as well as discusses eligibilty.
