FSM’s Debut Webinar: Increasing Campus-Based Support Programs for Students from Foster Care in MI
Ever wonder what it takes to create a campus based support program for students from foster care?…
Youth Fostering Change is a youth advocacy program through the Juvenile Law Center, offering young people currently or formerly involved in the child welfare system opportunities to affect policy change through advocacy, media outreach, and public education. From 2015-2016, Youth Fostering Change focused on working to improve access to higher education for foster youth and developed specific recommendations based on their research findings. Join FSM as we discuss "Achieving Success: Guidance for Colleges to Better Support Foster Youth" with Cathy Moffa, MSS/MLSP, Associate for Youth Engagement at the Juvenile Law Center, and the 2015-2016 YFC Youth Advocates.
Fostering Success Michigan is a program of Educate Tomorrow that aims to increase access and success in higher education and post-college careers for youth with experience in foster care. Learn how you can contribute to building a holistic network that insulates (i.e., strengthens protective factors and reduces risks) the education to career "pipeline."
