The California Fostering Connections to Success provides policy recommendations for improving the outcomes of parenting youth in extended foster care.

The policy analysis team used data collected from a review of the literature, seven key informant interviews, and two focus groups with parenting foster youth to identify current unmet needs of parenting youth in extended foster care and propose recommendations to best address them. 

While this is specific to California, much of the information can be used for professionals and supportive adults across the nation.
