In addition to ranking states on overall child well-being, the KIDS COUNT Data Book provides rankings for 16 indicators in four domains: Economic Well-Being, Education, Health and Family, and Community.
The Data Book also examines how America's youngest children are faring, adding to the ongoing national conversation on early childhood education, and has incorporated statistics on multiracial children, a rapidly growing population.
