At Western Michigan University, the Center for Fostering Success adapted the Casey framework so that education is the central focus of support offered to students, with stability in other life domains integrally tied to the understanding of what alumni of foster care need to thrive and succeed in college (Unrau, 2012). This webinar will focus on the life skills domain and related resources.

Join us for the FSM Life Domains Webinar Series! Each month will feature a webinar that will provide an overview of one of the seven life domains identified by Casey Family Programs (2006) as a way to organize and address the needs of students with experience in foster care. We will talk to experts in each domain including students and professionals working in the field and provide resources related to each domain. Be sure to participate in the FSM Community Collaborative each month in person or via Persicope and catch our podcasts that will also highlight the featured domain!
