Fostering Success is a campus community for current and future UA students that have experienced the foster care system, are struggling with housing insecurity and homelessness, or are unaccompanied youth in need of additional support and guidance. Each member of Fostering Success is connected with a peer advisor and is provided support and guidance down their higher education path related to academics, social and campus organizations and clubs, basic needs resources, and much more. Through participation in Fostering Success, each student is given opportunities to take on leadership positions within the program.
Fostering Success Michigan is a program of The New Foster Care that aims to increase access and success in higher education and post-college careers for youth with experience in foster care.
