In an effort to remove barriers to higher education for young adults aging out of the Michigan Foster Care System, Aquinas College has created the "Fostering Success" Scholarship Initiative. This initiative will ensure that total assistance from scholarships and grants (including ETV funds) will cover tuition, room, board and book costs for up to two prospective students each academic year.
Program eligibility / affiliation criteria:
- Students must be in Michigan foster care at the time they turn 18 or upon high school graduation.
- They must have achieved a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scake at time of admission.
- Have a ACT Composie of 22 or above (or SAT score of 1100 or higher).

Fostering Success Michigan is a program of Educate Tomorrow that aims to increase access and success in higher education and post-college careers for youth with experience in foster care. Learn how you can contribute to building a holistic network that insulates (i.e., strengthens protective factors and reduces risks) the education to career "pipeline."
