Ways to Stay Healthy

The Grand Rapids African American Health Institute provides a list of 10 ways to stay healthy. 

  1. Don't Smoke or if you do, stop smoking
  2. Have your blood pressure checked regularly
  3. Eat healthier
  4. Be more physically active
  5. Maintain a healthy weight
  6. Have regular medical check-ups
  7. Know the medication you're taking or being perscribed
  8. Reduce Stress
  9. Learn CPR
  10. Become your own advocate
