Higher Education Podcasts

In an effort to provide succinct and readily accessible information about college access and success for young people experiencing homelessness, the NAEHCY (National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth) Higher Education Committee is releasing a monthly higher education podcast.

The podcasts are geared toward youth so that information about higher education, and going to college are easily understood. Currently as of July 2014, there are eight podcasts available for you to listen to right now!

  • What is FAFSA?
  • When should I file the FAFSA?
  • FAFSA Completion for Homeless Youth
  • Who can make a determination? (that a young person is an unaccompanied homeless youth for purposes of completing the FAFSA)
  • What to Do When You Are No Longer Considered an Unaccompanied Homeless Youth?
  • How to Apply for NAEHCY's LeTendre Scholarship Program
  • NAEHCY Local Youth Task Forces
  • Where to Go for Help or to Learn More about College Access and Success for Homeless Youth

Please check back each month to access the newest podcast posted at the link provided below.
