A Handbook for Youth in Foster Care

The foster care system can be overwhelming to navigate. This handbook aims to help youth better understand the services that are available to them when in care in the State of Michigan. 

The Michigan Deparment of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) wants you know know what is happening, who the people are and what they are supposed to do (this includes caseworkers), what documents are availble and what there purposes are, and to help you get what you need while in foster care.
